1. Your Account & Responsibilities

To place an order, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration and checkout.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Informing us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Ensuring your delivery address is correct and complete. We cannot be held responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by you.

2. Products & Services Description

We offer a carefully selected range of home furnishings, including but not limited to:

• Furniture: Bed Frames, Armchairs, Bedside Tables, Benches, Bar Stools, Bedroom Furniture.
• Bedding & Soft Furnishings: Bedding, Bathroom Towels, Candle Holders, Carpet Runners.
• Lighting & Decor: Ceiling Light Shades, Bathroom Mirrors, Bathroom Accessories.
• Specialised Items: Bio-Ethanol Fires, Mattresses from our “All Mattresses” range.

We make every effort to display product colours, textures, and dimensions as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings, material batches, or handmade characteristics, which we believe add to the unique character of our products.

3. Ordering & Payment Terms

Placing an Order

Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. A contract between you and Housing Units Furniture Store is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before dispatch, including for stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (£). Prices include UK VAT where applicable but exclude delivery charges. Delivery costs will be clearly shown at checkout.

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Payment is taken in full at the time of order placement. Your card will be charged when you click “Pay Now”.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver to most global destinations, excluding parts of Asia and certain remote regions.

• Order Processing: Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing before dispatch.
• Shipping Methods:
  • Standard Shipping (£12.95): Via DHL or FedEx. Delivery within 10-15 business days after dispatch.
  • Free Shipping: For orders over £50, via EMS. Delivery within 15-25 business days after dispatch.

You will receive a tracking notification via email once your order is shipped. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, as they may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as customs procedures or carrier delays.

Your Duty upon Delivery: Please inspect your items promptly upon delivery. For any visible damage or discrepancy, you must note it on the carrier’s delivery note and contact us within 48 hours (see Section 7).

5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you are not, please see our full Returns Policy, the key points of which are summarised here.

• Eligibility Period: You have 15 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange for eligible items.
• Condition: Items must be in original, unused, resalable condition with all packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories intact.
• Process: You must contact our Customer Care team to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number before sending anything back.
• Return Shipping Costs: For change of mind returns, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked and insured service. For faulty items or our error, we will cover the costs.
• Refunds: Once your return is received and inspected (within 3-5 business days), we will process your refund to the original payment method.
  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing.
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Housing Units Furniture Store or our content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. The overall look and feel of the site—our “trade dress”—is also our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any material without our express written permission.

7. Liability & Warranties

Product Warranty

Our products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period (details provided with your product). This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

Limitation of Liability

Housing Units Furniture Store shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our website or products, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the total value of the order in question.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or is faulty, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and clear photographs. We will arrange a replacement, collection, or repair at no cost to you.

8. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
